Things to do in Egypt:

Pyramids of Giza

The first thing you need to do when you arrive to Cairo is to go and see the Pyramids and Sphinx. It's an amazing experience. Here are some points to remember while you are watching these wonderful pyramids:

• The great pyramids were built as tombs for the pharaohs

• It took a work force of hundreds of mathematicians and architectures and hundreds of thousands of workers to build them and evidence suggest that it took 30 years to build the first one.

• Each building bloc weights 2.5 tons and there over 2.5 million in each pyramid.

• Part of the nose of Sphinx resides in the British museum. Napoleon Bonaparte’s Army damaged the statue’s nose the French invasion in July 1798

Sharm El Sheikh, Sinai

I went to Sharm El Sheikh and a friend of mine (he works in the tourism industry) arranged my accommodation in a 3 star hotel. It was a good deal: $35 per day ¡V half board, which means, breakfast and dinner included.
The weather was brutal, it was unbelievably hot, I tried to avoid this weather by staying in my hotel most of the time. At night I would walk around Namaa Bay and enjoy the cool weather at night.
There is a lot to do in Sharm Al Sheikh, it is the most expensive area in Egypt but it is beautiful. See the pictures of the beach.
Here are some of the things you can do in Sharm - Sinai

„« Diving
„« Desert exploring
„« Shopping in bazaars and shopping centers
„« Camel and horse riding
