Qingdao, the city of beer :)
Knife and I checked in at an hostel that was situated high up un a hill. It was an old observatory. It was a cozy place, especial the restaurant wich was on the top floor with a very good view of the city. I think in summer this hostel would be better to stay in because at this time it was very cold inside of it so everyone had to where a jacket. We had left Simon on the train station before because he was going to Beijing for a week.
Knife and I went out doing some sightseeing together in the city. The weather was nice for some walking so we passed by the seaside. I think in summer Qingdao would be a great place cause the beach look very nice here. We made a visit in the brewery of Chinas most famous beer Tsingtao. It was intresting to so see the museum but I was looking forward to try it directly from there because we had been told before that we would be able to in the end of the museum.
Beside of the beer sighseing we had some nice food in the evening. We tried this "Hotpot" , its when you cook it yourself in the middle, you put vegetables and meet so you cook it all together in like a soup. One spicy and one non spicy side. Because their lack of english speaking, we had to go upstairs in the kitchen to choose what we wanted to have inside.
The other two days here in Qingdao we just spent walking in the streetmarkets trying food. Then I headed towards Shanghai by train.
