Crossing the border from Singapore to Malaysia (in english)
Hiya everyone, today we arrived in Melakka, about 200km northwest of Singapore....After quite a ride on the subway, then a bus, taxi, another bus, and a final taxi ride we finally made it and our first impression of Melakka and Malaysia is....wow......Besides my broken chair on the bus which has become very annoying everything went smoothly and Malaysia makes the impression that it is more developped than expected....
We`ve come into the pouring rain today which was more like a monsun but its good as its getting more and more humid and the vegetation is greener than green, really beatiful.....
The people are extremely friendly and kind, something we weren`t even used to anymore after living in England lol ....I`m sure some of you know what I mean lol ;)
We had some great Chicken Sate today, found a very (very) simple but cool guesthouse right in the heart of the city and everything is about half price or even less than in Singapore, it`s absolutely incredible.....with European standards...... Well, we`ve had a really long day and after grabbin somethin to eat we`ll go to bed......more photos will follow, so long.........
