Visiting Labadee, Haiti

We woke up to see Labadee, Haiti outside our windows. Eager to get onto the tendering boats, we had our breakfast and got ready "in a flash".
We didn't know much about Haiti before we got here, we were surprised to see just how huge the island is. Ladabee is just a tiny tiny tip of Haiti. And it was so green - and not flat at all.
In Labadee we found the meeting point for our costal tour, signed in and walked around a bit while waiting for our tour to begin.
There are several made beaches for the tourist to enjoy, an aqua-park with slides and "ice-bergs", bars, and lots of shopping. The crew from our ship was also going to Labadee, to prepare lunch for all of us. A real RCCL BBQ in Labadee.
You could spend you money on clothes, hats, souvernirs, well pretty much whatever you liked. You don't see much of the island, or the locals on this trip. Only the RCCL part! Not sure why that is. Anyway, we had a very nice tour, learned a lot about Christopher Colombus and the reefs outside Labadee. We enjoyed the sea breeze, the guide and the view from our little boat.
After having a nice lunch at the beach we headed back to the ship. It was nice to cool of in the cabin, and just relax a bit.
Later that nigh we went to see one of the ships shows on Deck 3.
