I woke up with the worst migraine ever, and looking out of the windows I knew why, rain and thunder=heavy headache/migraine... Just had to deal with it, and get ready....
Again we had plenty of time to get ready, we were all up at 4 AM, had our coffe and cocoa (complimentary from the hotel) and got ourselves ready to check out and leave for the airport.
The weather didn't look good, rain and thunder... eeeeeek, we vere a bit worried about flying...
Arriving at O'Hare in plenty of time. The woman taxi driver told us to check-in outside the terminal, witch was a good idea. The guy at the counter took care of everything, the seating and luggage. Unfortunately he was not able to seat us together, that wasn't good. But what can you do, right!
Feeling relieved after dropping of the suitcases, we entered the terminal and started looking for our gate.
Jan talked to one of the ground staff to see if we could be seated togheter. And we could... JIPPPII!!! Kids and adults happy.
Marcus and Jan was seated at the last row of the plane, and Madeleine and I a couple of rows in front of them. Madeleine was the only one with a window, Marcus' window was blocked as he and Jan sat by the engine - a horrible place to sit because of the LOUD SOUND!!!
No need to say I was more than happy that I wasn't seated there... Poor Jan and Marcus though... :-(
The flight went smooth, the weather cleared before we lifted - so nothing to worry about there.
