Arriving in Miami
Arrived in Miami 40 minutes early... that's nice. Found the shuttle for the Enterprise rental cars easy outside the terminal and jumped in. The driver was very helpful, hauling all our luggage in and out of the shuttle bus. Thank you driver :-)
I waited outside with all our luggage while Jan was inside the office, getting our minivan. It was HOT outside. But nice also, the flight was rather cold... brrr.
We got our car, and drove off in less than 30 minutes. Found the I-95 and started the drive towards Orlando.
It's already 3 PM and we needed to get something to eat. The great thing about driving in the US is all the roadsigns telling you about places near the road where you could get something to eat. The kids REALLY wanted to eat at a US McDonalds and we caved in. Stopped at one in Delray Beach, and got Wraps for me and Jan and nuggets and Shakes for the kids.... The McDonalds was nice and clean, but the music was too loud for Marcus getting a bit of a headache and me also, trying to get by my migrane. We brought the food to the car and drove on.
Entering Kissimme was an adventure, so much to look at as we drove by... and we were getting excited about getting to our Condo in Orlando... not far now
