I began the Pre-St. Patrick’s celebration by speaking with the one man who makes my heart sing the evening of Thursday. I had had a tough time the previous two days and he made me feel better. He laughed as I put on my hat and threw on my green throw to demonstrate for him. From across the video conference he laughed heartily and my stupidity. I had a headache that had lingered on all day, so after the demonstration I sat down and told him I had a headache, he looked at me with a touch of sadness and went “well darling, you have to take care of yourself”

Well I promised I would take care of myself and promised I would sleep some more (even though sleep has been a stranger to me for the past several months due to medical issues). He kissed me good night and sends a text to my phone telling me he looks forward to talking to me soon.

Friday morning I set off to work but I had no schedule up, which normally means I would have a hard time meeting my set quarter for the day. Being Friday 13th, I talked myself out of work and sat down to watch movies. In the middle of it, I got a call from my friend reminding me of the meet up at the Wildcat House for all new member of the Southern Arizona Adventure Company: well I’m a seasoned member, but nonetheless I wanted to go and welcome the new members. It was quarter to six in the evening before I left my apartment and headed north on Kolb, turned left on Speedway and was on my way to N.Stone Road to the Wildcat House location.

When I arrived at the Wildcat house, many of the newbie’s had arrived and some of the old guard were there. Boyd our very dedicated group leader was at the door welcoming each member personally, I like Boyd he is a great guy. He asked if I need to be introduced since many of the members were new, I accepted his offer and he asked Ryan to introduce me around. Mike then saw me from across the room and headed my way to welcome me and the rest was happy, happy and merry making.

Here is an Irish wish for y’all!

“May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow, and may trouble avoid you wherever you go”.

Luck of the Irish:

Looking forward to the big party this Saturday March 14, 2009
