Los Angeles often have contradictory view on nature. Griffith Park is probably one of the best testimony to LA's nature. A little patch of green in the middle of concrete available to anyone with a car.

Big came down to LA to get a taste of Ramen and vnese sandwiches. We went out for some ramen at night. It was good as usual at the joint down in little Tokyo. As we exited the restaurant, we weren't sure where we are going. We saw this Japanese bar that looked interesting with the Wild West door. So, we entered. Our barman's dress up made sure that we were really in one of those black and white movie in the 70s. Turn out, they have a karaoke stand. So, we worked our courage up, sang our heart contend, and bled our ears.

Next day, we went on a little Griffith hike. It was wonderful. Those wild flowers were blooming so make it a beautiful area but most of them were mustards, which is an invasive species to CA. When we got to the vista point, we had a sampling of sandwiches from Portos. Afterward, Tracy head for home while Big and I head to eat more sandwiches. I was so full that day!!!
