Well i just looked over what i put in the previous blog and i can see how tired and buzzing off the walls i was as i didnt really mention much lol.  So i will totally recap and start again.  Got into India at Midnight on Monday, and was terrified of never finding my backpack, missing my flight, not finding a cash point and basically anything where i was gonna loose my way and panic and make a right dilly of myself.  But actually none of that happend and to my shock and horror i got to Goa perfectly fine and on time and relieved that i did.  You know when you see something and you think omg wow, like seriously wow, well that is what i felt when i landed i just knew everything was gonna be ok as the ppl on my flight were great, the ppl at the airport were fantastic and soooooooo helpful and lovely, the next flight the same and so on to the taxi dude who drove like Lewis Hamilton over bumps and bends and really put my life at risk but who cares, outside the window of that taxi i saw India, i saw green lush trees, fields, cattle wandering about without a care, broken down old villas which nobody lives in anymore which now look like the ruins from Jungle Book, and colour, so much colour, it was like, yes, i knew i would like it.

all from the plane to the taxi. i had yet to see Anjuna.

So got to Anjuna and met my lovely hosts, the lovely DeMello family who can i say made me feel safe from the start, showed me to my own little half villa, even tho it technically isnt a villa, well it has terricotta slating on the roof and red tiles on the floor so to me that is a villa, so i am staying with villa.. Set me down and i slept for about 9hours, and woke had a shower which does work and does have hot water and also has a european loo!!!!!! which was like whooooooo hoooooo.. had a long chat with Mrs DeMello and wanderning off tho it was getting dark i thought sod this i am off to find the beach found the beach but couldnt find the entrance in the dark so left it, then found the internet place which is cheap and quick and has MSN so all coolies, then as i was hungry went off to find some lovely indian goan food.

hello to anjuna beach
. so went next door from the villa to a place called Munchies (which doesnt serve beer) and had Chicken Tikka and a nan bread and coca cola.. well blow me away but omg the chicken tikka was bloody gorgeous and as for the nan bread i could of died, it was stunning, laugh if you might, but i adore nan bread and this was the best nan i have ever eaten, the spice in the tikka was lush, it really put alot of takeaways to shame back home tut tut tut, this was one of those amazing tikkas that you hear all the celbs flying over just because its yum.  and the best bit it was only like 2quid for the entire dinner and drink.. so i was dead happy.  Went off to the supermarket and brought two cans of Kingfisher beer and drunk them on the patio and just listened to the breeze i was in heaven.

The following day i had problems with internet access which was a pain, first my mobil and then internet, not fabulous believe me, but when the server is down its gone for good.  Tuesday was bank ATM day, tho Mrs DeMello did say dont go down about 12pm as it will be boiling but me thinking hey its cool its only a little hot ended up nearly fainting from the heat, found the bank, got out a couple of quid to last me a bit and sprinted off back down the road (time to the bank takes about 15mintutes if your walking from the taxi rank) found a small bar had a bottle of water and just sat there stunned by how nice it was also thank god there was a bloody ATM.. had lunch at Munchies, this time i had a pita hummus and falafeel wrap, which was bloody good, along with a coca cola, and went back to my villa had a shower, fell asleep on the chair outside my room and woke up 4hours later!! went off shopping got myself a ankle braclett and a sarong which i will use on the beach and when home wear around my neck, the cheeky girl who sold it was dead funny, talk about pressure to buy something but not in your hey you buy this, more like hi ya, this would be lovely on you etc etc, but i dont buy because i was pushed, i brought my items because i had my eye on them and thought omg that is what i want, and yes i did haggle, tho i think i was ripped off on the sarong, the anklelet was way too good to be ripped off.

After that i went off for some dinner at the German owned Oasis and had the special of Tiger Prawns along with a nan bread, which sadly wasnt as good as Munchies nan but the Tiger Prawns were outstanding, i mean they were huge, tasty and moist and dead fragrant, and Oasis sold beer so i had two large beers, and being on my own i didnt feel i was being moaned at for having a beer (unlike when i was in South America) but when the beer is the same price as a coca cola and cheaper than fresh juice i know which one i will always aim for... duh the beer.. and Kingfisher beer is by far yummy in the warm weather, i have drunk it previously before back home in England, but it tasted of soap a bit like fosters which is bloody vile, whatever my friend Rose might say on the subject.
But indeed Kingfisher beer is one of those guilty pleasures of sitting out in the warm heat and just lazying about doing sweet bugger all and sipping a cold beer, its what i worked over a year and half for so why would i change my beer for a coke, hell no.

So today well, nothing much just had a nice sleep, and decided i best email the fam and friends and get on with this blog as i paid a hour here so best use it wisely.  Off to the beach and have some lunch i do fancy eating in one of those shacks and so that is what i am gonna do, i am also gonna buy me Postcards later, seen some dead funky ones for only 10r so will have to purchase later lol.

well i best go as i have noticed my time is nearly up
