Hello india
March 16, 2009
i arrived last night, after a fantastic plane ride, seriously i am so impressed by Jet airways London-Mumbai absolutly fantastic. So got to Mumbai and waited my 5hours for my plane down to Goa, and that also was great, the people at the airport were so nice, helpful and polite and just happy to be helpful. Which i can tell you is fantastic as at the end of the day you need to feel welcome and happy esp if your on your own, and well i am the lone traveller now, the only problem i have with Goa right this minute is that while my mobil worked fine in Mumbai it doesnt wanna work here, there is not network and that is really peeved me off, as that was one of the major problems i had out in Costa rica was lack of instant message to tell the ppl i care about that i am safe.
Anjuna seems good, tho the first thing i did when i got to my villa was fall asleep, so i work up late and thus went off to find a internet cafe and ta dah found one, which is great as its only 60p a hour lol fabulous. now i go off looking for food and beer. which is very very important lol

cheap place to eat in Anjuna
How cheap is cheap, well a how about two large dinners and a large bottle of beer, and your looking at only 2quid. this is Oasis the cheapest place in Anjuna, for a beer and dinner. But whats the food like, well the food is a mix range of Goan, indian, thai and chinese, along with the usual pizza pasta and chicken dishes you get at most places around. The Thai food is a highlight, and there red thai curry is very tasty and cheap at only 170r. Plain curry is only 90r and a plan rice is only 30r a small beer is 30r and a large 60r. just so you know, the same beer is mostly 50r and 90r elsewhere. The staff are a friendly bunch, and the music is on the lines of whatever is on the ipod at that moment. I reconmend highly tho bit pricey at 2.50 the tiger prawns, which where so large my eyes nearly popped out my head. All in all, the best place to go with mates and chill and eat some food, with the cheapest beer in Anjuna.
