We ended up at a bookstore where I had to have another book in Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series and where we met our new best friend, the Milepost. It ended up being one of the best purchases of our trip. After that, we picked up some delicious gelato from Juneau Gelato (I had applie pie).
We went to the office of the company that does trips in to the Tracy Arm fjord thinking we were just inquiring but in no time, we'd signed up for a day trip ($140). Last exciting thing of the day was free beer tasting at the Alaskan Brewery Company. It's called a 'tour' but there isn't much touring. More of a talk. And then all the free beer you'd like to try. Dinner was at my favourite restaurant...Costco!
Funny story: when you pick a campsite, make sure it's not already taken. We picked the perfect campsite right by the lake with a view of the glacier. Set up our tent and went back in to town. We got back and realized that the site was already taken and had to move. Instead of dismantling our entire tent, throwing it in the car and reassembling it, we did the next most logical thing!
