The Ugliest Family

Our boat dwarfed by a huge cruiseship.
Today we went on the Captain Cook and saw GLACIERS! Glaciers. They are incredible. I understand how big they are but actually seeing them was still mind blowing. We were able to see both the Sawyer glacier and the South Sawyer glacier. We were within 1/4 of a mile from the northern glacier, Sawyer. We even saw a huge chunk fall off. On the way to the south one, we saw the Taku fjord which leads the way to Canada. There were tons of ice bergs and baby harbour seals just hanging out. We also saw a few orcas! Money well spent, that's for sure. Also, we may or may not have seen the ugliest family. It was truly unfortunate. We spent a great deal of time trying to discern whether or not the youngest was a daughter or a son. Not always the nicest thing to do to pass the time but it sure worked!

Dinner was at our favourite place: Costco. Followed by fun grocery times at Wal-Mart. We must've spent more than an hour there, wandering the isles. I really enjoy grocery shopping. And we have a cold place again so we can try and avoid the warm milk we've been eating. The swiss army knife was lost for a few days but found it with other random things we took from the ferry's cafeteria. I've also managed to bang out a bunch of postcards. And I read. And slept well. Not too shabby!
