Actual conversation on the ferry:

Are you having fun?
...Yeah
Are you happy?
...Yeah.
Okay.

It's a good idea to always check-in with your fellow travelers! Who knows what might've happened if the answer had been no.

Before hopping on the ferry from Juneau to Skagway, we went to the Mendenhall Visitor Centre and went on a bit of a walk. A loop that brought us mighty close to the glacier but way up top and then back down. It was supposed to be some sort of nature walk but we went the wrong way probably and couldn't find the markers. Whoops.

Some fun facts we learned about glaciers:
- Glaciers move along because of their weight.
- They are made from snowfall being compressed.
- They bring rocks along with it that get ground up/trapped.
- They are the reason why some mountains have round tops!
- Receding means its moving along slower than it is melting off.
- In the 1990's, the Mendenhall glacier melted an average of 30ft/year. Now it's at 280ft/hear. Can you spell G-L-O-B-A-L W-A-R-M-I-N-G?
- Moraines = dirt

We also made a quick stop at the Shrine of St. Therese. It was very serene. It has the stations of cross and a labryinth.
