Oldest walled city in Germany.....an easy travel destination if you are heading down to Switzerland.....along the Romantic Road. A bit touristy...but less so in the winter.

Charming Hotel in Rothenburg
The Hotel Gotisches Haus was situated centrally in Rothenburg. I was able to make reservations directly from the website and was notified within a couple of hours with answers to my questions. The hotel staff were pleasant and accomodating. Once you check in it is important to get a parking plaque for your car so you don't get ticketed, but parking is directly across from the hotel. Rothenburg is the oldest walled town in Germany, and not large so everything is within walking distance. However the charm of this little inn was the historic significance and the rooms. The bed was comfortable but the room took some time to warm up...it was on a very cold day in February.

I would stay there again. I liked the location and the charm.
