Granada and La Alhambra

Today we took a day trip to Granada to visit the La Alhambra.  It took about 3 hours to arrive in Granada by train.  We were incredibly exhauste since we were up late last night for the flamenco show and had to awake at 5 am to catch the 7 am train.  However we were really excited about going to visit La Alhambra since it is one of the most visited places in Spain.

The La Alhambra was beautiful.  I could really see the Morrish influence and much of the architecture was similar to what is in Morocco.  Their was also a great view on top of a fort where I was able to see all of Granada.

Outside of the La Alhambra, Granada is a really nice city.  The food is pretty good and there appears to be a lot of shopping.  I really enjoyed the trip and I am glad that I made it there even though I was exhausted.
