The Oldies but Goodies!

I decided to break this blog into sections so you can look at the parts you are most interested or check out the pictures of particular cars.  

Here in this first section are the “elders” of the group.  

The oldest entries were two, nearly identical 1929 Ford Woodie Wagons. The first one was from Clovis and was one of the best in show entries. The second one came from Santa Cruz and carried a license plate from Hawaii that was surfer all the way. It read “Hang Loose”.  It was pretty hard to tell them apart.

There was a 1930 Ford Model A Woodie Wagon up from Tehachapi for the event.  The canvas and clear window glazing looked original although I’m sure it was not.
