A quick getaway.....to a beautiful city

Praha

I love Praha!  I am not even sure why at times but there is something about walking around the Old Town which is magical.  Spending time walking from Wencelas square and down to Charles Bridge evokes such joy and energy.  Maybe it is the people you encounter or the architecture.  And there are so many lovely pubs to duck into to take a break from walking but to continue whatever intimate conversation you are having with travel companions.

Fun Experience in Praha!
Dahab is an Egyptian Restaurant in the old town of Prague. When you step through the doorway of the restaurant from the front, you might think there's been a mistake, and in a way there has! You need to back out and head down along the left side of the building from the outside and you will find the restaurant entrance and you will be in a different world from the front cafe entrance.
The food was very good, but not spectacular. We had a wonderful Lebanese Cab blend, Chateau Keyfra which I highly recommend! The energy and entertainment are well worth it. On most Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights starting at 9pm there is belly dancing. Its always good to shoot the management an email from the website to confirm the entertainment. They were very prompt in getting back to me. Then there is the arabic music, really lovely and it helps set the tone for the evening. You can enjoy a hookah with any variety of tobacco. I am not a smoker, but found the cherry hookah of the wonderful couple we met sitting next to us to be really nice in aroma. I found the wait staff very attentive, although I have read mixed reviews about this from others. I will be back.

And it gets even better with regard to the cross-cultural aspect.....imagine an American, living in Bavaria, eating at an Egyptian restaurant in Prague, drinking a bottle of Lebanese wine!
