German Corner in Koblenz
The small country of Luxembourg with a great capital should become our first destination this day.
We absolutely enjoyed a super-nice landscape, an imposing tidiness and lovely architecture.
After we had crossed the almost invisible border to Germany we drove along the river Mosel, where you can find one of the most awesome wine growing areas of Germany. Many varied vineyards dominate the view and crowded restaurants and cafés are not very unusual.
The cities of Bonn with its former gouvernment district and Koblenz, where we visited the German Corner, which is the place, where the Mosel joins the Rhine, have been on our route as well.
A little shock was my sister´s jammed finger in the mobile home door, which wasn't nice at all. ... Lucky her, it looked much more painful than it was.

We spent the coming night in Brühl near Cologne because we wanted to experience a super-fun day at `Phantasialand` (an amusement park) the next day.

Corner sounds so less 'eckig'

Your parents have a genius for combining a cultural trip with fun amusement parks... I have a feeling rollercoasters are next on the agenda..... Sylvia
