Arriving in Wroclaw

We have arrived! It was pouring rain and we unloaded out of the plane and ran onto the bus waiting to go to the terminal. They managed to pack us all in like sardines which was a bit frustrating but it was just a short ride in so it was ok.
We arrived, went through the "customs" area and looked around for the guy from the rental car company that was supposed to be waiting for us. Hmmm, no sign of anyone. Brett called and they said he would be there in about 5-10 minutes. 30 minutes pass and we are still standing there waiting. He called again and they said he was still on his way.
Finally Brett spots this guy who had been outside smoking for quite some time and Brett saw his name on the sheet and took off after the guy. Sure enough, it was our rental car guy who had just been hanging out in the front. He said he would go get the car and meet us back in the front.
He pulls up with the car and we head off, stopping down a small road - sorta like a back door deal. We had needed an automatic and yeah, not that easy finding one in Poland. Everything is manual transmission. Unbelieveable!!!!
Once we got all the paperwork done, Brett asked how to get to the highway and he didn't know but said if we dropped him off at the bus stop, he would take us that far. Uhhh, you are kidding right? Nope, he wasn't - we took the guy to his bus bench and hopped on the highway. LOL
