At the power house with Paul

13 years ago my family and I visited Brisbane while on a 4 week vacation in Australia. It has been too many years for me to really remember that visit..! Coming back though brought back a lot of fun memories! Even though we did not go to pet the koalas this time or visit the wallabies, we had a great time cruising around the city by boat! I love seeing a city from the water – it gives a very different perspective! We had decided to go to the Power House to have coffee, but it was closed until June 07..! We walked through the park just close to it and caught the boat back towards town. We had lunch at a great Turkish restaurant with a lot of great dishes. Since we are a group of coffee lovers, we found a café close by and had excellent coffee – a triple espresso for me – I was still had jetlag..! (At least that is my excuse!)

After leaving Dawn and Paul – who had to go to Sydney – my dad went to a meeting in town and we went shopping at Queens Mall…! There are a lot of great stores there and we browsed for a few hours – then had another café latte..! I should be buzzing after all that coffee, but it was not really the case! It was one of these beautiful days filled with so much sunshine, laughter, (coffee!), and great friends!
