The island of Crete is the largest Greek Island. Located in the south of the Aegean Sea: it is the fifth largest island in the Mediterranean region with a population of approximately 650,000 people. I lived an entire life in this place when I visited. Peter had a hard time trying to get us out of Greece. Crete is one of the most famous because of its history, beautiful mountainous landscape, beaches, rocky coves and charming harbors. The Minoan Civilization ruins one of history's greatest records of civilization lies here. Crete is separated by four prefectures including Rethymno, Heraklion, Chania and Lassithi.

Nothing will give you an idea what this island is like, except visiting it. It is a relaxed place for leisure, so if you find yourself there, kick off your shoes and relax. It feelslike people on the island do not work, but they do, its just that they are so relaxed about it you would hardly notice

PS: “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain
