Daytrip to Stonehedge
February 25, 2009
Now Stonehedge is in the middle of nowhere near Amesbury. It is a World Heritage Site now, which means that it is protected. But in the 1970's the stones where private property and a large amount of the stones where sold off to whoever wanted to buy it. So now only maybe 1/3 of the original stones are left.
You are no longer allowed to touch the stones, or lean on them, but you can still take photos and I was lucky that we had good weather and the sun was out :D
Ok now off to Oxford University!
