An exciting history lesson & a sooo yummy discovery

Discovering the past

We also visited the ancient harbour of ´Ostia Antica`, where we dove into another pool of history again. Walking through the maze of old and famous ruins was pretty exciting.

We also found one of the most amazing ice-cream shops in Rome! WOW, either I began to hallucinate because of too much walking under the Mediterranean sun or an incredible dream had come true.

Everybody knows Italy is quite popular for its ‘Gelato’. What could be better than sightseeing with a delicious ice-cream cone in your hand in Rome? Not much! I had never seen so many different, exactly 42, exotic and yummy ice-cream variations in one place. That must have been heaven because I have an absolutely sweet tooth and enjoyed 28 different ice-cream flavours during the following days - so fantastic!

I remember the gelato! They have some great icecream downtown in Rome as well. But it is too long ago for me to remember the exact location. Somewhere close to the spanish stairs perhaps but don´t take my word for it
