Curacao with its capital city Willemstad and the old town Punda is a must to see if you are in the Caribbean, Middle- or in the north of South America.
The temperature is always good (25-30degC) and there is always a cool breeze. Only the rain can come along sometimes, but luckily for a moment only! Hurricanes there have hardly been!
Then there is the beautiful old town Punda with its colourful houses and Dutch conquerors history in the "Waterfort" and the impressive museum "Kura Hulanda" in Otrabanda.
But the holiday started with the "Grand Carnaval Parade" on Sunday, followed by the "Farewell Party" on Tuesday evening !!
