We - my friends and I - visited Novalja, Croatia last summer for a studentholiday (read:cocktails, parties and sunbathing) so after our beachparties we had to eat something so we just picked a restaurant which we thought was ok. That's how we stranded at "La Paloma".
This pizzeria is located in the very cosy streets of Novalja just in front of the market and a church. The terras is big and always crowded but in a nice we-got-space-enough way.
It is a very well-organised restaurant with the menucards written in Croatian, English and German. It has a large list of pizza's, pasta's and other meals influenced with their own culture and specialities like fish.
The waiters are helpfull and speak well English and almost fluently German. They are very gratefull and don't "sell" themselves because of a tip you might give. The waiters tread you respectfully and work hard.
The food is absolutly delicous, it has the right proportions and is worth every penny.
Because of the historic location combinend with the modern world it is a guarantee of a delicious, cheap evening with good food and hopefully fun co-travellers.

Enjoy your meal ;)
