Den Haag (The Hague), Netherlands

The other capital city of Netherlands. The administrative centre, the parliament based city. A small city, and a quiet one too with its reliable tram system. A short tram ride through the city and we found the Vredespaleis (the peace palace). This place in Carnegieplein is not opened for tourists, but a good photo shoot from the outside. A peace flame in a cube stands at the main gates. This is the place where war criminals go to court and get punished. The centre of Den Haag was our first chance to try some Dutch food, and pancakes was a good starter. Big, tasty and filling. Yummy.
