fighting with cockroaches
The bus trip went fast, at 11 am in the morning we arrived at Airlie Beach. This is a very famous place for backpackers! So I was really excited what this would bring. But I was tired as well, because I didn't get so much sleep the last nights so it would be a relaxing day.
We (seraina and I) took the shuttle bus to the hostel. It's very nice to see at the first place. It's big, 4 people, toilet and a fridge. There were 2 italian boys in our room. Unfortunatley we had just one key for 2 persons, everything was broken. The bed of the Italian boys were broken as well, so I put my mattress at the ground, which was not really a good idea.
In the afternoon we went into the city to go shopping, find an excursion for Seraina and get something to eat. In one shop there was a very good paper with a very nice text about yourself. Then we did some shopping and bought Hummus and bread and eat this at the Lagoon, like aussies. it was bad weather so we couldn't lay in the sun :(
In the evening I wanted to go sleeping but we saw some cockroaches at the roof! and there was a small frog in the toilet! IIEEH! we were screaming well kind of and tried to wake up the italian boys, but they did not hear us. We went to our bed and start writing in our diary but were so very tired that we fell asleep immediately. The next day, the cockroache and the frog were gone, damn where are they??
