Skydeck & Festival and a terrible night
I just took it easy today since it was really hot! It was about 32degrees!! So I was like a fountain at that moment. I just walked around in the direction of the Federation Square and I found out that it was a bit different then normal. there are many people, places where you could taste different kind of food and music of every country in the world. It was very nice to see but way too hot to stay here for the whole day.
Took a turkish bread which was really nice and I called Philip so we could meetup again. He arrived in the early morning in melbourne. We met eachother at the Flinderstr Station and then walked around in the city centre. After a long walk we went back to the river and went to the Wine&Food festival, another one! You had to pay for it and then you could drink for free, but we did not do that.
We walked to the highest building in Melbourne; SkyDeck 88.As you can see at the name it has 88 floors which is really high. I could get discount so we went inside. By the lift we went upstairs and had a great great view. Just stayed there for a while had a good chat and went back downstairs again. After we went back to our own hostel and changed and we both were really bored so decided to meetup again and have a drink.
Also in the evening there was a concert on the street. It was something of Greek, did not know that before, but next to my hostel was the Greek quarter so it was very easy to find out. It was very very busy and took us long to get to the other street. We walked to the federation square and sit down for while, having a chat watch all the funny people who were passing by.
But then the terrible night arrived, it was a night of waiting waiting and waiting! Because I've got my nail inflamed I had to take medicine and I took it that day but i got an allergic reaction, so I had to go to the doctor, but everything was closed so the emergency of the hospital was the only option to do. We went there by a taxi and I went to the administration system. Well I did not have to go there, first I had to sit at the red chair so i could speak with a doctor in public. I told him the story and I had to go to the administration for giving my name etc and then I had to wait to see another doctor. We've waited for half an hour until we could enter. (we arrived there at 12) It was already 1am.
When I was there a doctor came to see me and asked me some things, then I had to wait and I got a tablet for allergic reaction.
20 minutes later, no doctor.
30 minutes later, no doctor.
50 minutes later, no doctor.
So I decided to go to the desk and asked where they are. They forgot me, I saw the paper with my adress and name on the table next to my bed which they needed it I think. So he came to see me and I said it goes better, which it did.
And I asked for antibiotica for my infection and he did not understand me, well he did not listen to me, because he was asking for a salve and I said no; I want a antibiotica since I had the allergic reaction because I took the first one. Then i had to wait AGAIN! It was already 2.30 am!! The docter came and I gave the name of it to her and it took a while to get the receipt, finally we could leave it was 3am and we had to take a taxi back. I was in bed at 4am! Pff too late!it is such a strange system and then you see that it's too laid back over here. They don't care about anything which is really not a good way of thinking!
