My 10week trip from Bahrain, UAE, Australia and New Zealand!

No electricity.. and hurry!

My roommates turned the light on so I woke up. They had to leave and I could sleep one hour more. When I had to wake up I tried to turn the light on, but it didn't work. What is happening?
I went to the bathroom and the light did not work as well. So I tried to do the best I could and put some make up on and all that kind of stuff. Unfortunately I couldn't take a shower which I really wanted to do, so go in the bus very dirty!

At 8.36am I walked down with all my luggage and tried to run to the reception to check out. Yes, no electricity. They had to put candles on to get some light. I checked out and waited until I could walk to the motel next to the hostel. The bus will pick us up at this place. First I walked to the motel to ask if it was true before I miss the bus. Yes, he will arrive here. It ws very busy in a small reception because of the bad weather. And good news, or bad news.. it won't be better in the next few days! fortuntelly i'm leaving to Nelson. this is a place situated next to the Abel TasmanPark, he was  dutch guy. I really wanted to go there but I was to ill to go away :(

The busride would take 10 hours, well when I look at it now, it's normal that it's 10 hours! We stopped after every 2 hours and waited there for such a long time, which was terrible. There was nothing to do or to see. The busdriver was so not funny, he was 'making jokes' all the time. Complaining about the people who were sitting with the feet on the seats (like me, but no shoes and i was ill, so I thought that's no problem). You can't eat in the bus, sorry I did! I did not care about him. But in the beginning we really had to hurry.

At 7.35pm we arrived safely at Nelson. The owner of the Hostel came to pick me up. he was very friendly and funny, an english man! It was a very small hostel with just 2 share rooms and 2 double rooms. You could do everything over here, and everyone was friendly. It was a bit a pity that I had to stay in my bed so i did not talk so much with my roommates.

Hmmm,, I really want to go home, just 1.5 week left!
