My 10week trip from Bahrain, UAE, Australia and New Zealand!

Capital City

Oh, I just forgot something to tell when I was on the way to the Blue Mountains. You know, when you see a movie of the USA in the suburbs when the houses are far away of each other? Well it was the same as a suburb somewhere in Sydney. And then I saw a car driving slowly and he threw something out of the window. After a few seconds I just recognized it of the movies. It's great to see that they are doing that for real. I've never seen it before. Oke for the people in the Usa it's quit normal, I'm just a stupid Tourist.

But oke, this day was a bit less relaxed. At about 12.30pm I took the train to the Central Station and there I had to take the Greyhound bus in the direction of Canberra. When I arrived at the station I asked a women where I had to go, but she did not know it. Another women heard me talking and she asked in english if I was from the Netherlands, yes I am! She start talking in dutch, because she watch dutch tv 4 times aweek just to keep it up2date. She said me the good way and I just had to wait for 1 hour until the bus arrives.

At 3pm we drove away and 4.5 hour later I arrived at a station in Canberra. Where to go now? No one would know it and I walked like don't know where I am. Then I asked a busdriver and he give me the direction. 4 times more i had to ask someone until I could find it. The hostel was oke, it was clean and big. I would stay there just for two nights.
Canberra is the capital city and it became the capital city because they couldn't choose between Melbourne and Sydney. So they build a new city in the middle of nowhere, which is now Canberra. It's pretty boring and everything is closed after 8pm.
