The impressiv Maglev train doing 430-431 km/h from Shainghai airport to Pudong. Doing 45 km in 8 minutes. wow

Arriving after a sleepless night on the plane, we had to walk the extreme long walk from the arrivel gate in Pudong Airport - this was the first sign that we had come to a big place. The Airport is very efficient which is nice when you are tired - even delivering all the papers that you have filled out in the plan coming there went fast.

The quickest way from Pudong airpost to Shanghai is "the Maglev" the train that performs 431 km/h and does the 45 km in 8 min. The tickets were ok in price, arround 10€ for the both of us. Riding the train was quite funny - all men including my self was looking at the speedometer - the japanese in our section were filming it like crazy - they even got me going.

I just had to take a look at this fast thing.
My girlfriend Kaija was just laughing at us - but eventually she jumped into the same game and took some pictures of the famous speedometer. It was an impressive ride.

Coming to the end station and taking a taxi is very easy - but the problem we faced was that we didn't have a chinese version of the hotel name. This just made the trip more funny and we got help from a lot of nice people. This was also our encounter with the noise of the city. I still laugh when I think about it - I am sure that they have a contest running on how many times an hours they can use their horn in their cars.

Our first day was about finding the chinese rhythm. We slept the most of the afternoon and went out for some food and a walk in the evening and then turned to bed again. hoping to be really fresh the day after.
