To day is a great day!I have one of my reviews featured and the street of the restaurant Le Comptoir des Marronniers,a small pedestrianized street, very close to Bellecour square brings back to me good memories:in the sixties I have been" on stage" as a bit player,an extra in a little theater of 60 seats managed by Marcel Maréchal, a good actor and future director of the Marseille's theater.
This restaurant is one of JP Lacombe's Bistrots des cuisiniers and offers unaffected good food at cheap prices with very professional service.
It is Danielle's canteen. She goes there at least twice a month with her friends before shopping or going to the movies.
The menu of the day is 23 euro, the kid menu 10 and a main course with a little green salad 11,50 euro.
A glass of wine is 3 euro,a fillette(means little girl in French!) of 23 cl 4,50 and the Pot Lyonnais of 46 cl is 7,5-8,50.
The wine list is short but convenient:from 21 to 56 euro(CĂ´te Rotie) and the bottle of Champagne is 48 euro.
IN FRANCE THE COST PRICE OF THE WINE IS MULTIPLIED BY 2 OR 3 IN THE RESTAURANTS!!!!!!!
