My trip to Denmark and Sweden in March 10-18, 2007. One reason for the trip was to find and photograph the town of Lönstrup where one of my ancestors emmigrated from.

Jelling - Day 5

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Jelling Mounds, Runic Stones and Church was our next stop.  The rune stones are the first written record of the word Denmark and considered the birth certificate of Denmark.
