Helsingør - Day 7

My trip to Denmark and Sweden in March 10-18, 2007. One reason for the trip was to find and photograph the town of Lönstrup where one of my ancestors emmigrated from.

Helsingør - Day 7

Today, we decided to go to Helsingør and see Kronborg Castle from Shakespeare's Hamlet.  After an "unnecessary" train ride to the airport, we got on the right train and were on our way.  The castle was immediately viewable after walking out of the train station, so it was very easy to find.  Kronborg is a very impressive castle in size and history.  The casemates below the castle were also very interesting.  If you plan on seeing the casemates bring your own flashlight.  The ones they sell before you go in aren't very good, but they are better than nothing.
