Copenhagen - Day 2

Copenhagen Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

My trip to Denmark and Sweden in March 10-18, 2007. One reason for the trip was to find and photograph the town of Lönstrup where one of my ancestors emmigrated from.

Copenhagen - Day 2

Town Square
Our first full day in Copenhagen would a day full of more walking around the city.  We started off under a cloudy sky walking from our hotel, Cab Inn City, to Copenhagen's Town Square.  From there we headed down the Strøget to Nyhavn (Copenhagen's New Harbor).  After taking tons of pictures around Nyhavn, we wandered over to Amalienborg Palace for the changing of the guards. While at the Palace, the sun came out and quickly warmed up a previously cool day.  After the guard changing, it was time to head up to the Little Mermaid and find all the other tourists who decided Copenhagen in March was a good idea too.  After the Little Mermaid, it was back to Nyhavn to hopefully improve on the photos taken earlier and dinner at Nyhavn 17.
