My trip to Denmark and Sweden in March 10-18, 2007. One reason for the trip was to find and photograph the town of Lönstrup where one of my ancestors emmigrated from.

Copenhagen - Day 1

We arrived in Copenhagen at Kastrup (CPH) International Airport mid-afternoon via Amsterdam Schipol Airport from Minneapolis.  A quick stop to purchase train tickets to Copenhagen's Central Train Station and we were on our way into Copenhagen.  From Central Station we headed to our hotel, Cab Inn - City, a few blocks away and were on our way once again.  After checking in and short break, we headed out for a few hours of walking around the city and exploring our new surroundings.

CAB Scandinavia Inn Copenhagen
Very small rooms, but very clean, affordable and all you really need when traveling. Close to Copenhagen Central train station, the city center, Tivoli, Nyhavn, the Stroget shopping district and the Little Mermaid all within walking distance.
