After Bruges I was full of energy and looking forward to some more fun, but my hostel didn't make that very easy. It was a 20 minute bus ride to the city centre and it was more like a hotel than a hostel, which sometimes makes it more difficult to meet people. So I decided to take a tour of the red light district. The tour starts by bringing us to an information centre where we meet a former prostitute. Then we are shown some key sights in the red light district. It was all pretty interesting I must say. And the women were mostly all really pretty. The less "appealing" ladies come out during the day. I finished the night excited to walk around the next day in daylight at my own pace.
The next day, I walked around Amsterdam dazed and confused. I'm not sure if it was because of some personal problems I was having or because of all the fumes everywhere. Maybe it was a mix of both. I'll have to come back someday with a clearer head, but with all the changes their government is trying to make, the Amsterdam I saw may become history. The red light district and coffee shops may soon become a thing of the past.

Thoughts while in the Netherlands:

•None, nothing shocks me at this point

Thank you for not being shocked:)
It must be the fumes...
