The Infamous Shilin Night Market

After dinner at the Modern Toilet, we decided to wander over to the infamous Shilin Night Market.  I've seen it several times as we passed by on the MRT.  Not surprisingly, it was pretty crowded since it was a Friday night.  There was one food stand that had a HUGE line and I wanted to go back by to see what it was....turns out it was a fried chicken place.  It was a booth selling huge fried chicken breasts. LOL. 

We wandered down each row and checked out the shops, the food booths, and the gaming area.  Some of the food definitely did not appeal to me and I don't think no matter how hard I try, I will ever like stinky tofu!  Yuck!  The oyster omlette that is so popular doesn't seem all that appetizing to me either although I love oysters and eggs but the thought together doesn't work for me.  LOL.  Oh well, I didn't expect to come to Taiwan and instantly love all the food...who knows, in time I might be brave and try some of it.
