After months of a long distance relationship, I've made the decision to move to Taiwan to be with my honey. This blog will follow the whole journey, planning, to when I finally make it to Taiwan this summer! :-)

Heading to the Coast!

We were almost to the coast finally! I love the one part of the highway we traveled on that the freeway just ended...literally! Of course, they had routed us prior to the end of the highway but still crazy nontheless to see this highway just ending!

This area seems more industrial based on some of the buildings we saw passing through. There is a big harbor - apparently the 5th biggest international harbor in Taiwan. Cement manufacturing, fish processing, woodworking, food canning, and processing of mica, copper, manganese, and silica mined nearby are the major industries I read in this area.
