Driving Through Keelung

On our way to Yehliu, we took the long way through Keelung itself and as usual, made a few wrong turns and wound up touring some pretty small areas of Taiwan. It's funny that although we have the GPS unit, this one is not near as reliable as the one Brett had in the Netherlands. First the audio wasn't working the entire trip but then many times, it would just lose signal, time out, or not even recognize the roads we were traveling on! LOL.

We saw a few interesting things driving through Keelung, including my first real betel nut beauty! HAHA. It was also here, where we almost got run into head on by a scooter that took a turn too quickly and started to drop the bike as he rounded the curve right towards us. Awwwww, can't wait to experience these drivers on a daily basis. No thanks!
