Sun at last!
Arrived yesterday and have sunshine again! Spent the last 2 days at the beach which has been nice, the sea is warm but calm at the moment. Went out dancing last night which was fun. Is a nice town, really long beautiful beach and lots of good shops which I think I'll have to check out soon!

Went to Nimbin today, a very strange hippy town and also visited this American guy who has set up his own rainforest on some land he bought and never wears any shoes.

Walked to Cape Byron today, the most easterly point of Australia, nice views. Played in a pool competition in the evening and my a series of lucky flukes I got to the final, where I came second. PRetty good though, won some free beers. Had these before getting short bus ride to Surfers paradise. Quite a nice hostel in Surfers, with small shared apartments. We were sharing with some Canadians, the 2 boys very funny when we arrived, like some crazy double act!
