We woke up with only 2 plans:
1) Go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast
2) Go up to Chapel Hill to visit Cristina’s friend, which is were we would spend the night because it’s closer to the Raleigh airport, which is where I’d be leaving from early the next morning.
Breakfast at Cracker Barrel was super yummy. It’s the first time I’d ever eaten there, and even heard of. I’d definitely eat there again. When done breakfast, we hit the road to Chapel Hill. It took us just over two hours to get there. Because Cristina’s friend were both still working when we arrived, we ended up at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill campus. It was big, beautiful, and busy. We ended up spending a couple hours at the gallery there, as they had a fantastic photo exhibit showing for free. By the time we finished and got back to Cristina’s friend’s place, they were home from work, and ready for dinner. So, we ended up going back to the campus to a restaurant called Top of the Hill. When done, we made our way to a little pub called The Dead Mule. We didn’t stay too long, just had a drink or two, then went home.
Because we had to wake early (4:15) the next morning, we almost immediately went to bed. We had a really nice day.
