Firday the 13th started like a real friday the 13th...although I don't believe in such days like this one... In the Netherlands there are a lot of commecials traveling to the airport should be done by train as it's comfortable, easy and you will always be in time. Yeah right. We bought two expensive train tickets after running to be on time at 6.00 in the morning, hurry to be on the right platform and of course: our train is cancelled because of a failure and the train after that can't get through because of the first one. What to do? Get back and go to the airport by car.
We immediately start walking to explore this beautiful city. Our hotel is situated nearby the Omonia-square so very central. We take a look at the famous fish and meatmarket. It must be funny for people who live in Greece and reading this, but for us it's so great to see so many different fish and squids. After this we went walking through the city and enjoyed the sunny weather. Actually, we spend the rest of the afternoon by eating and drinking. :)
