Weekend in Nijmegen

We snuck away to Nijmegen for a weekend at the Sanadome Thermal Spa. It was our second trip as it is a little bit of paradise. They have many scented whirlpools as well as a heated pool outside (swimming outside in March - is it possible? Yes!) and, my favorite, the peppermint sauna. There is a Scandic hotel attached which is the best place to stay because many people come for the day, so being in the hotel you have access early morning & late night when it is less crowded. The restaurants are very good as well. They feature organic foods and other healthy options. After a day or two there, I feel like a new person.
