Keukenhof
April 15, 2007
The Keukenhof Garden calls itself the most beautiful garden in the world. The beautifully manicured gardens were amazing. They have every type of tulip imaginable (and lots of other flowers too) and the displays are quite creative…we particularly liked one that had a curvy row of blue flowers going through the middle to look like a river. The most impressive part for me was the fields of tulips. They seemed to go on forever. The colors were so vivid and I've never seen so many flowers in one place. We brought a picnic and couldn’t decide where to sit and eat because it was beautiful in all directions. It is only open for 6 weeks a year and totally worth the trip.
