One of my longtime friends Jackie lives in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. It was eight years since I last visited her and it was about time I kept my promise to visit again. Only this time it was while on transit to Germany.

10 Hours in Cedarburg

My girlfriend Jackie and I go way back to when we were in grade school in Uganda. I last visited with her in 2001 which now seems like a lifetime ago. She has since had a son who is now 5 years old and I must admit I felt guilty for not coming sooner to see  her after she had Daniel. Her children (Shona & Daniel) are so charming (all call me Auntie H, making me feel a little too old now, lol!).  It was a good break away from the boring airport terminals especially if I had to wait 10 hours to catch my flight to Frankfurt.

It was nice to drive around and see the town and have coffee from Starbucks.
