Sand Island Beach Park

Sand Island is the area of Honolulu where the container ships arrive to unload their cargo. I wanted to take some photos near the container docks but there wasn't a good place to park my car :( Instead, I drove to the end of Sand Island where there is a beach park. Well, not really much of a beach due to the lack of sand but there is plenty of room for getting together with friends for a barbeque, fishing or in my case, chilling out waiting for an airplane arrival. It's very close to the airport, so I just hung out here and took photos with my new camera lens until the plane arrived.
