The Summary
The crossroads of the Balkans, it is called. It sits in a valley surrounded by majestic mountains......so picturesque that it is hard to imagine the horror that happened here. I am so glad that it survived. What a breakthrough it was, to experience this comfusing / exotic place. I loved it!
