day 2: Half day trip Nessebar
We had to wake up at 8am. About 10.30am the bus came to the hotel to take us to the information point. It was stupid and some useful information. One hour later she was done with talking and we could ‘explore’ the rest of Sunnybeach.
In the afternoon we took the bus to Nesebar. It’s not so far away, within 20 min. you are there. The first building you see was the gateway of the old Nesebar. We walked further into the town. There were some shops and we walked inside; shoe store. I had to do my make up while my mum was looking. Damn, the staff were very angry at me! We walked outside and never came back again.
We saw a very nice building.
This is the called: Church of Jesus Christ Pantocrator 13th " 14th century.
In the middle of this town you can find the basilica St. Sophia. Another name for this building could be: The Old Metropolia. It’s built in the 5th-6th century.
In the end of the afternoon we went back to Sunnybeach. This time we did not take the bus. When you walk to the gateway of Nesebar you can see a small harbour. Next to this building there is a part of the fortification wall and the northern port. Behind there is the harbour. When we saw a sailor we asked if it was possible to go by boat to the other side. With this one it was not a good idea otherwise we had to walk too long. We waited for another one. The trip takes about 20 minutes, the same as a bus but costs a little bit more: 15 lev. Which means €7,50.
In the evening we went to the strip in Sunnybeach to see the nightlife. It was ok, but I liked it to be back in the hotel. The next morning we had to wake up early as well.
