traveling in Canada! From Vancouver, Vancouver Island, the Inside Pasage to Alaska for one day. Through the Rocky Mountains and the prairie of Alberta to Calgary.
After two flights we finally arrive in Vancouver. We
missed our connecting flight in Toronto but Air Canada booked us quickly on the
next one, we only had to wait for one hour. We had made reservations for three
nights in a Best Western hotel not far from Stanley Park. At the airport we
figure the easiest way to get there is by taxi. It’s about nine a clock in the
evening when we arrive at the ‘Sands by the Sea’, after a drink and a snack at
the bar jetlag kicks in. We will explore Vancouver for the next two days and
then pick up our RV for our four-week-trip through the West of Canada. The only
thing we have booked in advance is a ticket on the Inside Passage and we have
to be in Calgary on October the 6th to bring back the RV and take
two more flights home.
